ISOC Lebanon Elects New Leadership for 2026 – 2028

Beirut – 11 March 2026 – The Internet Society Lebanon (ISOC-LB) successfully concluded its administrative elections on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. The meeting, held at Berytech, Museum, 10th Floor, in Beirut, saw a strong turnout with 17 out of 21 General Assembly members present to cast their votes.

Election Results and Process

The election was overseen by a committee consisting of Fadi Fouad Khneisser and Vlady Charbaji, with the session chaired by the eldest member, Jean Akel. Since the number of candidates matched the four required seats according to the association’s bylaws, the following members were declared winners by acclamation:

• Charbel Maurice Chbeir
• Jack George Bakaev
• Antoine Edmond Assaf

New Administrative Board Appointments

Following the General Assembly meeting, the newly elected board convened at 6:30 PM to distribute internal roles. The leadership structure for the 2026 – 2028 term is as follows:

The process concluded in an atmosphere of consensus and cooperation. The association has officially requested the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities to include these minutes in their records and issue the updated administrative certificate.
