A yearly inter-university competition organized by the Internet Society Lebanon (ISOC-LB) to recognize the best three undergraduate students’ final year projects in the general area of the Internet.

Teams of students (up to 5) should identify an Internet related opportunity or problem, formally formulate the problem and its requirements, and next develop a solution, ideally within ISOC 2023 action plan:

  •  Community Networks
  • Infrastructure and Community Development
  • Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS)
  • Measuring the Internet
  • The Internet Way of Networking
  • Encryption
  • Digital Sovereignty
  • Network and Distributed System Security (NDSS) Symposium 2022
  • Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite systems
  • Sustainable Technical Community
  • Sustainable Peering Infrastructure

Projects abstracts should be submitted by July 6th,2023 to events@isoc.org.lb

The selected teams will do a 10-minute presentation in front of a jury on July 13th, 2023 at 3:00pm

 

The Award will recognize the best three undergraduate students’ final year projects as follows:

  • First Prize: USD 1,000
  • Second Prize: USD 750
  • Third Prize: USD 500
