Call for Elections of New Administrative Board for 2026

Beirut – 08 February 2026 – The Administrative Board of the Internet Society in Lebanon (Notification No. 2073 dated 20/12/2011) has officially issued a call to its General Assembly to convene for the purpose of electing a new Administrative Board.

Meeting Details and Logistics The General Assembly meeting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The meeting will be held at Berytech, Museum, 10th Floor.

In the event that a quorum is not met at the scheduled time, a second meeting will be held at the same location on the same day at 4:00 PM. This second meeting will be considered valid regardless of the number of attendees.

Meeting Agenda The agenda for the General Assembly includes the following key items:

• Review of the administrative report regarding the Society’s activities.
• Review and approval of the 2025 financial report.
• Review of the 2026 budget.
• Formation of an election monitoring committee (composed of non-candidates).
• Election of the new Administrative Board (consisting of 4 members).
• Announcement of election results.

Voter Eligibility and Lists The General Assembly consists of active members who have paid their annual membership fees prior to December 31, 2025. The preliminary list of eligible voters has been published on the Society’s platform. Objections regarding the voter list may be submitted until March 3, 2026, after which the list will be considered final.

Call for Candidacy Members wishing to run for a seat on the Administrative Board may submit their candidacy starting Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 8:00 AM until Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Applicants must complete the official candidacy form and submit it via email to info@isoc.org.lb. The names of accepted candidates will be published on the Society’s platform on February 28, 2026.

Proxy Voting Members who wish to vote by proxy must appoint another member of the General Assembly to represent them. The proxy form must be completed and sent via email to info@isoc.org.lb. The signed proxy form must be presented to the President of the Administrative Board prior to the meeting.

Final Announcements The final list of voters and the final list of candidates will be published on the Society’s electronic platform on March 3, 2026.
